Travel from Federal Way to...Europe

A very sweet part of the day was our friend Glen Shengren who picked us up in Federal Way, drove us to the airport in Portland, dropped us off after prayer then came back to the airport 15 minutes later to bring me my cell phone which I had left in the back seat. Oops. Thanks, Glen, many thanks.

Next challenge was at the counter when the sharp little lady helping us noticed that my passport expires soon after our return.she checked the regs at each of our stops to make sure they did not require 6 months on passports. The minutes were long as she checked each one. France is a country which wouldn't allow me but we only transit Paris and don't get out of International section, so... She could allow me to board! Whew.

So we did Portland to Salt Lake City. Had a yummy green pea & barley soup and are now on board for Paris. They just apologized that there will be no reading lights on this 11 hr flight! It was go with the plane like that or cancel the flight. We agreed with their decision! So...looks like we may be doing some sleeping this time, withplenty of time for prayer, too. We like that.

Surely the Lord works everything for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose!
